At least in opening moments, Rupert Murdoch is either, for sympathy reasons, doing an astonishingly convincing impression of a man far past his prime, unsure of details, and not always clear what question has been asked. Or he is revealing that reality, Wizard of Oz style. I have no idea which it is, but this is real-time history not to be missed.
Including the drama of his son trying repeatedly to save him by answering the questions for him, and the MP interrogator saying: With respect, the question is for your father.
